the iTar interactive guitar fingerboard for Mobile musicians – 6 strings/20 frets, 120 touch-sensitive keys – each has an RGB LED that responds in color and moving patterns as you play creating a unique multi-media experience. The iTar app screens provide the guitarist’s strumming-hand with a variety of options for creating music.

The iTar Bluetooth-MIDI Guitar for iOS and other devices is an Interactive LED fingerboard for both education and entertainment. Easily change tunings, select from a world of instruments and other sounds and sound effects. Play clips, learn guitar, record on-the-fly, and more. Available for early release. Play wirelessly into any computer or smartphone, or directly over USB.

* Create Zones on the fingerboard that can split or layer different sounds.
* Select from a growing list of Lighting scripts that animate the lighting in response to your playing.
* Play Multiple notes-per-string for piano-like cluster voicings and two-hands performance.
* Modify any performance surface by adding Knobs, Pads, ribbons, or XY pads and save your work.

* A library of performance surfaces is growing. Similar to the SynthAxe from the 1980’s, the iTar offers several ways to make music, all with a sensitive guitar fingerboard. Although the neck is an all-electronic emulation of a guitar, we have gone through $/Bld-Swt-trs and 30 years of Ztar design evolution to create what we feel is our best fingerboard ever.

The iTar is envisioned as a platform, a basic building block for an electronic music performance system. A follow-on line is being created of hardware accessories and software modules that will add to the experience for the creative musician who is interested to try new tools.
