TCA-1, Trigger Cap assembly

This is a 6-sensor TriggerPad set that mounts on top of the StringTrigger pickup on the Ztar. The 6 narrow TriggerPads are touch-sensitive.

When tapping notes or chords the force of your touch translates to MIDI note-velocity.
When used as MIDI ContinuousControllers your continued pressure on the TriggerPads translates to the programmed message type, for instance Volume, Modulation, or Pitchbend.
There are over 100 different messages that may be sent singly or in various combinations including playing clips, capturing and playing back chords and sequences or simply triggering the fingerboard with a keyboard-style technique which is great for Organ sounds!
